4G Activated in NYC?!

I might be going crazy, or perhaps my Evo bugged out, but out of nowhere my 3g icon in my status bar up-top was replaced with the 4G icon!

I visited SpeedTest.net on my phone and saw these results...

Download - 8.97 Mb/s
Upload - .88 Mb/s

I turned off 4G, went back to the site and saw these results...

Download - .51 Mb/s
Upload - .12 Mb/s

Is anyone else experiencing this?!

4g is on all around nyc. rumor has it it will officially launch Oct 31.

I just got my Evo yesterday and I live in New York. I tried to access 4G but it didn't come up. I tried again this evening and still no 4G.

To update everyone, apparently they were just running tests. Quite unfortunate as I obviously found myself quite excited.
