4g was cut off at about the 57 freeway around the 10 and the 210. As soon as I would hit this area 4G would swap back to 3G. Low and behold this morning at my house and now at work I am on 4G. Looks like Verizon flipped the switch on some new towers!! Speed test at my office:

Ping 58ms
Down 14.31
Up 17.49

Second test, same location
Ping 90ms
Down 13.77
Up 12.98

I woke up this morning in North Fontana with the 4G symbol. I thought it was a hiccup but it was working! I went to work and it looks like it dies around Upland (near 210) or so then it reappears after the 57/210 interchange. I hope it sticks cuz I love the speed of the GGGG's! :D

I live in pomona also. Never had it till this morning.

Work is in Fontana near the 10.

I did not notice any dead spots as of yet. I am taking the 210 home so I will keep my eyes open as i hit upland. That might just be a crappy spot no matter what. I know I have dropped calls along the 210 over the years.

I live in N. Fontana and woke up to 4G as well! I work in Rialto and drive throughout the city of San Bernardino, and 4G was working everywhere I went today. Loving the speed I'm seeing!

Yea I live in Ontaro and noticed the LTE switch was flipped on! I was eating at Gandolfo's deli and noticed it. So happy!

We had about 2 weeks of crappy LTE service here, and now I guess we know why. I'm in the Rowland Heights/COI area, i guess I was right on the border before. Definitely good news!

Update: driving home from los Angeles using the 210 corridor. 4G dies around Towne then picks up between Mountain and Campus (spotty) dies again and then resumes strongly by Hellman right before Carnelian. It remains strong into North Fontana. Don't know beyond that but it sounds like it remains until San Bernardino. This info is along the 210 corridor, your mileage may vary! Very cool! :D

LTE is also up and running in Rancho Cucamonga although not near as fast as it was in Pomona.

Full bars in Pomona and only 2 to 3 bars in Rancho.
