I don't have 4g yet in Tulsa, but I just drove through Dallas where there is suppose to be 4g. My phone kept just scanning and never got a signal.

I'm running Myn's 3 and netarchy 4.2.1 bfs bfq havs more smatass. Which from what I understand both work on 4G. Am I right?

I am just out side of Sprint's 4G network according to Sprints map right now. But during Tday week I will be running back and forth into Dallas where there is 4g network.

What should I be doing or checking to make sure when the next time I am in the 4g network I can get it to work.

Thanks so much.

It should just work I live in Fort Worth and work all over the Metroplex you should be getting 4G just about everywhere. I have used Myn's and used 4g on it before so it shouldn't be a problem. I have issues with trying to use 4G while driving though seams it has to sign in to each tower so if your driving try stopping for a minute so it can connect.

Hope that helps
Dave

It depends where you're at. I live in Dallas (specifically Plano) and it's spotty. Addison I get great reception, Plano is occasional, central Dallas (75/635 Northpark) area I get nothing. And Sprint constantly has 4G data outages that affects people at random.

By any chance, is it doing this:

scanning... connecting... disconnecting... scanning... connecting... so forth and so forth?

If I remember correctly it was just scanning and never connecting. But this was a month ago when I was in 4G. Phone was super super laggy as it was doing it. Had to reboot.

If it was doing what you were saying are you hinting at a broken 4G or bad MAC?

Well I just got a replacement Evo for that reason. For about a month maybe even more I noticed I couldn't get a damn connection anywhere. I just chalked it up as the the network itself. Until my friend with an Evo was getting 10mb/s right next to me meanwhile I couldn't even connect. So on Tuesday I unrooted and took it to Sprint. They couldn't figure it out so they just gave me a replacement. I honestly don't know if it was a bad MAC or a broken 4G. I do know there is definitely a pretty big issue with Evos and 4G that doesn't work. The last 4 times I went there, each time there were at least 4 people that were also there with Evo's that couldn't connect to 4G. When the guy pulled my replacement Evo out of the drawer there had to been at least 15 other Evos there. So I really think it's a pretty big problem they're having. Not sure if it's hardware related or what. I honestly never even tried fixing the 4G issue though, I just said eff if and turned it in for a replacement lol. You might be able to figure it out.

To be honest... I really wonder how many people CAN connect to 4G and have 4G in their area, but don't realize it because their 4G is broken and it just keeps scanning.

I'm on myns to had same problem then I just relflashed Rom without wiping anything and it fixed ..mine either kept scanning and when I restarted the phone of said fail under 4g
