You can do the same thing from adw directly.

Just create a custom shortcut and choose 4g settings. Then you can choose any icon from a pack or the gallery.

That's what I did with Launcher Pro. Made my own widget. I went to the Sprint website and used their yellow 4G logo they use and cut it out and made it the widget

Not sure what you folks are seeing. There is no option in custom shortcuts to select 4G. None at all.

Any body have any suggestions for a 4g toggle widget?

I have beautiful widgets but the 4g widget on it only works on htc wimax devices. I have looked online at the android market and amazon app store to no avail.

Please help if you can.

Hey everyone i read everything and here is a simple solution i have been using it on my nexus s 4g. Get bar control app on the android market then under the settings you can choose anything you want as a notification. Choose the 4g program and vola instant 4g pops you right into the menu so you can toggle it on and off as you wish.
