5.0.1 for Nexus 6?

Does anyone know if this is supposed to address the random reboots people have been experiencing (myself included)?

I had it and restarted to install but it got rejected, I guess because I forgot to unroot first. No it's not here to download....Ha, oh well

I would think it's too early to tell. I hope so cause I'm ready to pop my sim out and stick it back in my 6+.

Got it about an hour ago. Took a bit to get through my 150 apps. Have previously got 50056 on AnTuTu, will rerun and see if synthetics benchies have improved.

Had it, accidentally swiped away, went to system update and its not there.... What?? Anyone have an idea?

Well, first clean boot run of Antutu dropped to 49601. Exact same scenario as the 50056 bench. I'll fully charge the battery and run it a few more times and see what's what.

I got notification of update, clicked download and install, next thing you know it sent me back to screen saying I am already up-to-date...

I've tried rebooting, checking in, everything - won't give it to me :(

Same. Got the notification. chose restart and install, and it does nothing. As usual, amateur hour at Google. After all these years, still not a clue how to launch anything right.

So unroot before update?

Yes you'll have to unroot to take the OTA update.

I temporarily unrooted, relocked, and factory reset earlier today to troubleshoot my reboot issue. I'm hoping this update will take care of it.

I'm assuming the reason it stopped being available after a bit was because Google probably only wanted a small amount of devices to be on the update initially in case there were any big problems they didn't catch?

Got the update as well... Don't know what the big deal is. It will come. Nothing major

49971 Antutu on the second run post 5.0.1, this time with a fully charged battery. Everything set the same as with 5.0

So, synthetic benchmark wise pre/post update are roughly the same......according to Antutu.
