5.1.1

Seems quicker here too. Not sure if it's because of the upgrade or the factory reset I did after the upgrade.

I used the phone for a couple of hours after the update before performing the reset. It was just as quick as it is after the reset. It seems to definitely be improvements in the update.

So far so good after the update. Haven't noticed anything new besides Samsung pay and the icons are different. It is quite a bit smoother. I don't know if the battery life is different, I've always had really good battery life. I use Nova launcher, so I don't know how Touchwiz is now.

Oh, I did not reset after the update and every thing seems fine. I had the weird battery stats, but it was fixed after a reboot the next day.

All of your icons different or just some of them?

I didn't reset at all (I shudder at the idea) and have found the phone to be much snappier since upgrade. Hopefully it stays over the long haul because I'd noticed prior once a week or so, the got sooooo laggy I had to reboot it. Here is hoping the speed increase isnt just because it forced a reboot.

Anyone notice any extra configurations or options available now?

only real difference I have noticed is the color of the notification badges in touchwiz

The S6 Active does not have a Car Mode where you can set it to announce incoming texts to you, and read them out with a voice command. I heard that this update of Android would allow us to get that again. Can anyone confirm that?

The stock Internet browser now has the "find on page " function. Glad that is back; missed it with 5.0
