5.1.1

I keep having calls dropped. No issues before the upgrade. I also use package disabler. I enabled everything g before the upgrade and imported my settings after the upgrade. It is getting annoying that calls are being dropped. Anyone else?

Yes

Am I the only one with this issue?
No

For me 5.1.1 update was painless. But after a week or two of using it, I had so many problems that I chose to do a Warranty Exchange with ATT via corp store suggestion.

Dropped calls
Audio for far end missing
Calls not arriving to device
Calls not able to leave handset
handset would go from 4G LTE to no service without moving after disconnecting from a call that would succeed
Notifications not arriving
Text messages not arriving
Text messages not sending
Double resize of video text
Probably more but didn't find it

Phone worked flawlessly before the update and was 2 months old. Coincidence or update I'm not sure, but a factory reset and new SIM didn't solve anything. Patiently awaiting new refurb from ATT :(

Maybe that's why AT&T pulled the update. I'm running 5.0.2 with no update available.

Thanks for the information. The double resize of video text os annoying! !

Apart from the power consumption issue - which I fixed by annihilating AccuWeather which was pinging GPS like crazy and finally uncovering the Location settings that were removed from the appropriate menu but actually moved elsewhere in the latest update - and the slow interface after installing Samsung Pay - which I fixed by disabling animations - I haven't had any problems with the latest update from AT&T.

You're lucky

I've noticed slightly less battery life after the update. This isn't too big of a deal for me since I can normally go days on one charge. I just went thru apps and started disabling all the junk apps. And I killed the weather widget. I noticed I started getting daily forecasts every morning, instead of only pulling updates when I manually refreshed.

I finally took the advice here and uninstalled Lux. All but the issue of AT&T phonebook sync is gone... I can live with this one until Marshmallow hopefully. If the S7 has a SD and a better battery I may jump ship.
