What about this makes you think DROID line and not Moto X successor?

The 32gb of internal memory and large screen indicate a Droid Maxx follow up to me. But that may just be wishful thinking because I want moto to keep the X more compact

Please don't rain on my parade. If Moto doesn't produce a good <5 inch phone and the next iPhone is similar in size to this current X I'll have to switch.

All current leaks put the iPhone 6 as taller (~10mm) and wider (~5mm) then the Moto X, with a 4.7" screen.

Haven't held the G2, sorry. Looking at the pics, I say no. The X+1 edges have...edges...as opposed to the round-ness of the competitors. The edge gives you more confidence/grip.

Sorry, no internal specs- I don't know. The camera is higher MP. I want to say 12 or 13. I would assume better IQ, but I didn't try it out or see any samples.

Awesome! Perfect news for me. Love Moto, had the X a few different times, love the phone but it was always just a little to small.

Now I just hope it gets released soon before my M8 loses too much value
