5 Reasons To Buy The Z2.

Re: 1tb of Nand flash

I'm sure that it will be in time, but if this can and has been done, 128gb should be relatively easy to mass produce and the options next year should be 64gb & 128gb variants?

Wanted a smartphone with 1TB storage? You get it!

I'm pretty sure that we're moving towards it. Sometime ago 32MB was a miracle. Soon 1TB won't be enough.

Re: Some Z2 photos :-)

I've been getting some really good photos with my Z2, but this weekend got a random stinker in broad daylight. I don't know why, but it came out with tons of muddy artifacts. I hope it was just an aberration. View attachment 118984

Are you sure you were using a Z2, not an M8? ;)

Must be the lighting or how you have it focused. Sometimes Superior Auto pics a stupid scene mode.

Re: Some Z2 photos :-)

The HTC One camera producing cr@p like this was the reason I got rid of mine. I might have had it on superior mode, but if that's the reason, it's a real oxymoron.

The Xperia Z2 offers so much in quality that you won't be disappointed.

Ok many will have different tastes and requirements and things you prefer.

But for me the Z2 has so much to offer.

The Build is Fantastic and feels great in hand.

The Camera is great and has so many great features and the app itself is a joy to use.

The Ui is light and makes for in my experience a fast and lag free experience.

The Noise cancelling headphones are fantastic.

Lg's knock on is a great feature borrowed by Sony (it's good to share)

Dedicated camera button.

Screen is really good in daylight and in all lighting thus far, a crisp and vivid and true colours.

Battery is so so good.

Call quality is clear and crisp, not 100% but good.

So if the Z2 is a thought, just buy your money will be well spent :-)

Re: Some Z2 photos :-)

In very happy with the Z2 camera. I had a Lumia 1020 and it seems to me to be just as good with better software.

Re: Sony Xperia Z2 don't think just buy :-)

Well if verizon would relase it then I would most likely own one too, once my upgrade comes up on july 5th. Just hope they dont close the loophole of transfering an upgrade to another line to upgrade and keep unlimited data.

Then you might be in a dilemma the Xperia Z2 or Lg G3 hmm. Whatever the choice I can only speak for the Z2 right now and Base the LG on purported leaks.

So the Z2 I'll wrap up nice and short as I have threads on my user experience and say it's worth every penny.

The LG G3 certainly sounds great based on leaks of course.

But what I like is that Sony and now hopefully Lg are listening and using mass information to refine their product.

This is why even Htc although they need to drop the ultra pixel and try better optics, Sony and LG are my new companies of choice.

Motorola are another that are refining that low end specs and producing great budget phones and the X+1 will no doubt be a great device.

I think Apple & Now Samsung are loosing touch this doesn't effect sales due to recognised Names and people trust that. Perhaps this might be due to all the law suites or that they don't really care as they know it will sell, so minimal effort is great.

As you can probably tell I am now getting fed up with Samsung and never really been a fan of Apple.

The Nexus 5 changed my view and the Xperia Z2 is going to have my attention for 2 years if I can bypass the Z3,Z4,Z5 lol will be hard.

Sorry writing what was in my head and strayed off topic.

Yes Just buy the Z2 as soon as it's available you won't regret it :-)

What is your views on the Xperia Z2?

I am so glad I decided to opt for the Z2 over the S5.

Whilst the S5 may be a great smartphone, the Z2 is more focused.

The Design is one that only Sony puts out there and for me that is great. It's especially great in white, I usually opt for the black but so glad I opted for the former as it's stunning. The Z2 feels great in hand, bit of weight to it but that adds to the premium feel.

The Camera is great and the app itself is so nice to use. Pictures turn out fantastic and I although really not a photographer, it makes me want to go out there and snap away. I haven't had an opportunity to try the 4k but from what I have seen it's great and I will be using it shortly. The 2 Stage Dedicated camera button is brilliant and so nice to have it present.

The Noise cancelling ear buds produce a very balanced sound while doing a great job in eliminating background noise.

The Ui is nice and light and for me personally I haven't experienced any jitter or lag or crashes thus far. I usually opt for a launcher (apex) but so far I haven't bothered.

The battery life is great and I can get through a full days heavy use no problem and charge overnight, which suites as I tend not to use my phone whilst sleeping.

I really do applaud Sony for the Z2 and if they keep to this standard and focus, they will keep me as a customer.

The Z2 on very fine Smartphone :-)

Re: Xperia Z2 3wks- tiny review.

Just got mine as well.

Only gripe I have is with the fingerprints. Holy hell the fingerprints are pretty bad on this thing. Carry a microfiber cloth.

I do too. Turn off your screen and tell me you don't have fingerprints.

I thought you were making reference to the rear, yes the screen does smudge but they all do, until they invent a smudge resistant coating it's something we must put up with unfortunately lol
