I think you'd have a lot of "discussion" about that claim. While the 1D IV has a new sensor it is still a 1.3x crop vs the full frame of the 5D so the actual pixel density is smaller on the 5D even though it has more pixels.
Anyway, this is way off topic and best left for dpreview or someplace like that (I shoot a 1D III myself).
The camera will only be as good as it's weakest point (sensor, lens, software etc)...
Indeed, there is much more to it than what I said. I figure it would be best to have basic examples. As you also shoot digital SLR, you know that megapixels are not everything in regards to image quality.
