Hello, is the Nokia 6.1 as good in features as my iPhone SE?

Looking to move back to android and not spend too much

Here is a quick list for starters.
The US Nokia 6.1 has:
1. more RAM (3GB)
2. external storage (for pics, videos and music)
3. camera may not be as good, but it allows you to use both at same time
4. 5.5" screen. it looks nice.
5. USB C
6. The price!!!

Negatives
Camera - quality not as good.
Cell Radio - Does not work on Sprint or Verizon

Toss -up
1. Android vs iOS - for these two models, both are going to get at least 2 years of updates.
2. Processor. A9 vs Snapdragon 630. I have not run benchmarks, but i have used both processors. They both perform well.
3. Eco-system? Which do you prefer. I prefer Androids. Their tools can be used on all platforms. Apple, though their tools are cool, i dont like being locked into their eco-system.
4. Build - Both are built nicely. I am always impressed with Apple's phones, but they are too expensive. This Nokia does not feel or act like a $270 phone. It is solid and looks fantastic.
5. both have a headphone jack. why does this even need to be listed. INCLUDE THE DARN JACK ON ALL DEVICES.. GEESH.

Personal gripe
Why doesn't the device support Adoptable storage?? Not happy about this. However, Apple doesn't have external storage.

Updates are important to me. I am happy to find a well rounded phone that will get guaranteed updates for at least 2 years and has external storage. The Nokia 6.1 hits my sweet spot.

Why do you want to move back to Android?

If it's of any use, I've literally gone down this route and changed from my iPhone SE to the Nokia 6.1, it's a great phone, build quality is of a flagship device, specs are more than adequate for the price, Android one so runs smooth and fluid, updates are coming through quickly (had two already).

The only thing that lets it down a bit is the camera, it's not great in low light and daytime one's need the detail turned up a little in post photo editing.

But for what the device costs, it's a bargain - something which is lacking in today's world of mobile phones. The Moto G6 range is a competitor but has a worse processor, worse GPU, lower benchmark scores... Yet reviews will recommend it as the bargain device, but from testing and specs, the Nokia 6.1 has that title IMO.

Thanks for the update
I am bored with IOS and want a change. I like the notifications better, easier to add ringtones. Have sleep android on an old Samsung 8gig phone that I like. Can’t change completely as I have Apple TV and MacBook.

All G6 phones have NFC in Europe. G6 Plus has NFC worldwide (but I don't know if it's available in the US).

Here in the US they gimp the phone to not have NFC. Nokia 6.1 though does have NFC and it runs soo smooth. Just got it yesterday, haven't ever gotten this great of battery life on any android. That and clean simple oreo with 2 updates already I'm sold.

The camera is acceptable (for my usage). Nokia have always put good cameras in their smartphones. Whether it's is good enough for you will depend on your own specific requirements. The 6.1 is a mid-range, affordable smartphone. Build quality is excellent, there are however devices out there with better cameras - it just depends whether you need the improvement(s) and are prepared to pay the price.
