There has been a change in behavior when on the charger. First of all, we no longer get the LED going from red ->orange -> yellow -> green as the phone charges. It's gone. Second, it used to be that if the phone was on the charger you needed one long press to turn off the LED, and a second press to bot. Now you just need one long press to boot, but it doesn't start to boot until you release the button, so you think nothing is happening.

The blinking green LED that notifies you of new email is also gone. I'm told there was also an LED for text messages. That seems to be gone too.

Someone already mentioned the change in Smart Actions where Screen Timeout is limited to 10 minutes. I thought they were going to improve things?

I don't like any of these changes.

I never had my led light come on when charging. The only way I could tell was the lightening bolt in the battery icon. Installing update now.

I like the changes to the settings icons.

I do not like the new position of the notification button. As a efty the notification button on the bottom left hand side was absolutely ideal. Anyone know if I can fix it?

I seem to getting worse battery life with this new update than I did before (even with smart actions going and everything on auto-end in the task manager). From 80% to 40% in 15-20 minutes without using my phone is going to be a problem. I'm not rooted, so i don't think that would make much of a difference or help. Starting to get used to the new location of the settings button, though I don't know why they needed to switch it from the right side to the left side of the phone.

Anyone else having inconsistent battery performance after the update? I usually leave it on 3G unless I'm bored at work or actually need the 4G for something.

Loosing 40% in 20 mins and not using the phone is a big problem. Install badass battery monitor to see what is killing your battery.

Just got the razr yesterday and was a litle worried that i was able to kill the battery in a few short hours after a full charge but got this update this morning and battery seems waaay better now. Played for a long time and the battery only dropped 10%. I got it for my wife so a short battery life would not be good.

My charging lite has never come on even before the update. Don't need it anyway as I charge over nite, every nite.
For the rest of my usage I don't see any cons at all. I may have better battery mileage, not sure yet. But aside from some aesthetic changes i don't see a whole lot different. My Maxx works great as always. Possibly the best device I've owned to date.

Has anyone had a problem with the visual voicemail. Since the update I have to subscribe everytime I have a message. Verizon was no help.

I've noticed the alarm system glitches a lot. Like the alarm will go off, and I'll snooze it and within a split second it goes off again. At least while in the HD dock. Anyone else experienced this? It does it every morning now. Never did it before the update.

I haven't had any problems with the alarm clock since the update.

Battery indicator shows decr at smaller intervals.. Not that I care since I have battery circle widget, but hey!

And dumb dumb dumb, but you must manually turn Data services back on. Why oh why? Settings, Data.

My data service was still on after the update. Found no issues yet.
