I don't think so, if I remember reading the thread correctly on the lockscreen mod the framework-res.apk is modified to bring you the lockscreen mod so that would in turn overwrite SRF's framework's/theme.

Not to mention I do remember it saying if you flash it on a CIQ removal ROM like SRF you would need to delete the DialerTabActivity.apk so it doesn't break the CIQ mod, resulting in boot issues. Bottom line, the lockscreen mod is NOT CIQ removal compliant.

so i ended up getting it to work...sort of. i removed the fonts and the twframework-res.apk and flashed. the only thing that didnt theme that i can tell is the notification pulldown window which is the same as it was with srf 1.1.1. ultimately that is what i was going for i like plain transparent windows. the notification bar itself is themed as well as the menu and the power off phone options and nebula wallpaper. the lockscreens all work flawlessly. Dialer also works. will post if i have issues

So we can learn - could you list the steps that you took to do this? In so doing, perhaps someone else could then figure out why your notification window didn't get themed...

The method he used was most likely something like this... .

1. A copy of either WinRAR or 7Zip (Both Free, just Google them)

2. Opened the zip file or archive as its known (Don't extract the contents) downloaded for the lockscreen mod using one of the two above zip programs. For this example we will say its called lockscreenmod.zip

3. Navigated to "/system/framework/" then removed/deleted the twframework-res.apk (this is what controls various aspects of the stock twlauncher and the notification pull down window and other things). Then while in the "/system/" directory if you see a folder called "fonts" then there has been a change from the stock fonts, so you can just delete this entire folder "fonts" and it will retain the stock Android/OS fonts.

4. After making those changes above simply close the file or just exit out of WinRaR/7zip and then you flash the file like you would normally in CWM.

The reason parts of the notification were not changed was some parts of the notification pull down window and the status bar are controlled by the framework-res.apk. The twframework-res.apk also controls some too as I mentioned above.

For example the exact file that controls the status bar background color is located in the framework-res.apk
"/system/framework/res/drawable-hdpi/statusbar_background.9.png"

There is many other files involved but I won't list all of them unless you would like.

I have a instructional thread for opening and working with .zip files and it shows you how to convert files from CWM2.x.x.x format to CMW3.x.x.x format and by reading and looking at all the screen shots provided you will get a good idea of what is involved with the same steps I mentioned above. I suggest taking a look at it if you interested more in doing these types of mods/changes.

Another thread we started based on these topics can be found below.

want to learn to be a dev...

Hope this helps.
