If you can obsess over the slightest thing then you need to stop messing with smartphones.

There will always be a better specd phone coming out and not having the latest version or the absolute best is a fact of life.

I won't tell you how to spend your money but you need to stop wasting time on obsessing over which is best.

No 2 phones give the same exact results everytime and just because one lags and stutters a bit is normal since any application can cause this or inconsistencies in the hardware as well.

You can keep throwing your money away in pursuit of perfection but I will tell you what my dear old departed Grandmother told me 40 years ago.... That is a fool and his money is soon parted.

Find one that you like and can use that does just about everything well and sit on it for a while... You'll be better off than what you are doing now.

There are so many good choices I know it can be hard to choose. However, as has been said Raven, none of these phones are perfect without some flaw somewhere. So, as has been said, you have to pick the flaws you can best live with. The G3 seems like a great device to me but I've read the complaints around the forums about it. My basic question would be, is it better in nearly all ways to the fantastic G2? If so, it can't help but be a winner. One whose flaws you might be lucky to endure.

Yeah, I was thinking maybe I should ha email stuck with the G3 originally, but I heard it has performance issues, which could have been a deal breaker over time because I do play games on it. And if I did want to get it again, I would have to get it off contract, which means it'll be like 600 dollars. As I said, the main issue with the m8 is the camera.

And as far as android is concerned I originally wanted to go to it because I wanted more hardware choice and I didn't want to feel tied to Apple. I wanted to be able to use whatever devices I wanted (Windows pcs, rokus, chrome casts, whatever) if I continued using its, I would feel like I then need to use a mac, Apple TV, Ipad, and etc. Don't know if that makes sense.

The fact that he returned his phone 6 times over and over again leads me to the fact that he's a troll. Who in the right mind would do that? Didn't the people at the store give him that "look" when he kept doing this over and over again? Shoot, I get that "look" when I returned a toaster at walmart..... and that was only once

And If I'm not mistaken isn't there a $30 restocking fee? $30*6 phones= $180. He almost got half a OPO/Nexus for as much as he's raking in restocking fees.

You will of course read about G3 performance issues, on WPCentral and iMore (and possibly even AndroidCentral!). Like others have said, get a phone and then don't worry about it. You can't go wrong with any of the current Android flagships. Stay off of the Mobile Nations forums if necessary. Whatever phone you decide to get, you made the right choice. It's all good!

Just enjoy what you have and trade it when you dont want it any more.

Anyway guys, I'm real sorry. I'm not trying to troll or cause frustration. Honestly, I have OCT and anxiety. This causes me to constantly ruminate things in my head and make impulse buying decisions and things like that. I don't want to use that as a excuse or look for sympathy, but it is the main cause I believe of all this. I'm going to us the M8 until that year payment contract is up. At that point I will then make the decision to stay with Android or go to ios again. Perhaps lollipop will address some of my lag issues.

It wasn't the same phone 6 times. But yes, I did spend more than I like to think about in restocking fees. There's not much I can do about that now though, so I'd rather forget about it.

At first it was the M8, then the Nexus 5, then the Z3, then the Note 4, then the Nexus 6, then the Z3 again, and now probably the iPhone 6. Luckily I haven't bought any of the phones yet, but I am having a really hard time deciding which one to get.

My issue is that I am pretty invested in its. I own a it'd, Apple TV, and I do plan on maybe getting a macbook one day. And a android handset wouldn't really work as well as a iPhone.

I think you should make decisions on what you have now rather than what you might spend thousands of dollars on in the future. Don't count on investments that don't actually apply to your situation at the moment. After all, you've already demonstrated to all of us how indecisive you can be when it comes to tech hardware.
