I have a nas box with 20tb of storage. I store all of my backups and APK files on gdrive with 15gb, and this is unlimited photos and video I take. I ordered the 64gb version based on that.

When I was waiting for my Samsung Galaxy S8 I used my old Nexus 5 with 16GB RAM and it was fine, although a little tight - so 64GB is more than enough for me. All my photos, documents and music are in the cloud so I have no need for huge amounts of phone storage. I ordered the 64GB Pixel 2.

I only use around 32GB of my 128GB 6s Plus, so I went with the 64. That should be perfect for me.

I've been fine with 32GB phones since the Nexus 6 up till my current Pixel XL - though I've been slowly creeping up on the point where if this year's options had been 32GB or 128GB, I'd have probably stepped up. With the baseline at 64GB, that's an easy choice for me.

Even more so when I figure I'll probably trade up again next year - and if the trade-in program is still a good value like it is currently, I anticipate the difference in buyback between the 64GB and 128GB will likely still be around the same $10 return on the $100 difference...

This is my Pixel XL. Yes I'm over, but I really have no need for 44 gigs of movies to be downloaded.

It'll just force me to be a little "cleaner" with my usage.

If data is not an issue you can stream stuff from the cloud. Also there's the photo storage offered by Google. So 64 is plenty for me. Currently on a Note 8. I got a free 256 GB SD card I'm considering selling cuz I don't think I need it.

What are most of you guys/gals going for when ordering, 64 GB or 128?? I'm still trying to decide. With free unlimited photo/video storage the 64 would be ideal, thoughts?

As a couple other members have said. 64GB would definitely be the size choice for me. The keywords are 'unlimited photo storage'. This means, even if i run low on storage, ill still be able to save all my photos and download them later on my laptop. However, some people don't like storing their files online because of privacy concerns ect. If thats the case, 128GB would be the way to go ONLY if you love taking video a lot. 64GB of storage should be PLENTY for photo storage.
