64 or 128 GB

What are most of you guys/gals going for when ordering, 64 GB or 128?? I'm still trying to decide. With free unlimited photo/video storage the 64 would be ideal, thoughts?

64 is probably big enough for most people unless you store a lot of Video and Hi Res music files.

True. I store FLACs of the songs/artists that get played often and MP3s of those that don't. Tidal and Spotify cover the rest when change is needed. If 64GB doesn't prove to be enough and the 2 XL proves to be a keeper, I might join the playground bullies and get a 128. First it has to pass my 32-point inspection process for full certification.

64gb is VERY roomy for me so it was an easy choice for me.

My choice would always be max storage but I understand that a lot of people just don't need it.

That's me. Do I need 128 ? No. I just want it. More space then I'd ever need so I never have to worry.

I went with the 64. I've been using my current 128 GB Pixel XL since it was launched and in a year's time I've only managed to use about 20 GB of the 128. I figured 128 would be pointless for me this time around.

Yup. I'm at 22 GB today.

Do you have the option of storing photos/videos on ur device or is it all automatically uploaded to the cloud. Only reason I would need the 128 is if I wanted to keep all my photos and videos actually on my device.

You can decide what gets backed up (or doesn't get backed up) in Google Photos and/or Google Drive.

I copped 128gb. Currently have it on my Nexus 6P, and after two years of use, I've reached 58% used. I plan to keep the Storm Trooper for the same amount of time [as my Nexus 6P]. The 128Bg will not be used, but it's about the cushion, for me. No worries of having to manage what I store in the regards of cutting down on what I, or the device, saves/stores. It's whatever works for you. Though everything is backed up I like to keep my hi res audio video stuff on the phone.
