I have never used ES file explorer for Dropbox or any other services it provide,it is just there to simply browse files, though recently I gave it super user permissions.
Can anyone explain why it is showing such a heavy data usage.

I get the same thing when I use es file Downloader. Did you download anything using the es Downloader?

Downloading via ES File Explorer is probably why.

I would guess this as well. I use the ES File Downloader to download my files.

Yup,just forgot that I'm using it for downloading as well, since I removed super download lite which took care of the download part earlier.
Thanks for the reply.

Just wondering how much hours you spend listening music in a single day.
