My IntelliArmor was delivered today and my 6p is going to be delivered tomorrow so I'll be able to see how well it fits.

Update: I took a brief look at the cutouts for the Skinomi and it doesn't look like they have it correct. Speaker holes only. Just ordered the intelliARMOR.

Anyone get their phone yet and try a Glass Protector? I just ordered my Aluminum 32GB 6P from Google with an estimated delivery of tomorrow-Nov 2nd depending when it ships with overnight shipping. Would like protection ASAP!

I've had glass screen protectors that did not cut out for the proximity and never had an issue.

The proximity sensor will not work. I put mine on today and during a phone call the screen will turn black and not wake up when you take it away from your ear. Pulled the protector off and the screen lit up.

Just as a heads up, I got an email today from intelliarmor saying their first batch of glass protectors did in fact cover up the proximity sensor, so the shipment has been delayed. So obviously this is an issue so far with some manufacturers.

SuperShieldz has redesigned their Tempered Glass to include the proper cutout for the proximity sensor.

I got the skinomi tempered glass..not gonna change its already home jst waiting for my phone deliver today.I ha v used the skinomi on iphone 5s n HTC m7 for 2 yrs .no regrets..phone fell dwn n the screen protector broke..sent email with pics they sent replacement free of cost for both htc n iphne

Unfortunately Skinomi will only deliver (Amazon) by early December. Even Spigen's film based screen protector is only available in the second half of November.

I have not yet received the case for my 6P(that needs to hurry up and ship! lol), but I purchased a Ringke FUSION case for my Nexus 4 and it kept it very safe from drops, had good grip, minimalist style, and had all the cut outs required. I only had a problem plugging in some chargers, but it was only if the plug was very bulky, i actually still use the case to this day. So I would suggest at least keeping this case in mind, I will update this when I have received the case.

Has anyone got a response from Supersheilds and are they planning on sending the correct TGSP which they now have on amazon (with the cutout) to those that received a defective one?

Dear Buyer,

We apologize for this issue. We very recently found out this problem.
We will have a new version of tempered glass screen protector for Nexus 6P that will have a cutout for the sensor.
We should receive the new shipment next Saturday ( Nov 7) and we will send you a replacement for free.

Looking for a good front and rear screen protector.

I find cases bulky, have used screen protectors alone since Pilot 1000 on many of those and successor devices and all my smartphones. Never broken a screen yet.

Concerned about Huawei defects on 6P. Any opinions on tempered glass vs standard plastic? Using front glass and rear plastic?

EBay for the cheaper tempered glass ones. There good for extra peace of mind.

Just installed a Supersheildz tempered glass screen protector. It has all the cutouts, and was a replacement for the one they initially sent in that lacked the cutouts. Quality is good, screen feels much smoother now with the glass on. It is however a tight fit and the power button is a bit tight with the google nexus case on. Overall high marks so far !

That Google case did seem like it would be a tight fit with a protector. I returned that for Diztronic and the fit should be better.
