6P Screen Protector

I know micro scratches are inevitable. But agh! I already have someone mine. After one week of use. And I've been so careful with this! Anyone else have scratches already? So much for gorilla glass. Hahaha

The device I used until Google sent me a replacement due to scratches on the metal out of the box developed a micro scratch within 2 weeks. Always its own pocket and it still happened. That's why I have a Pleson Glass protector.

I've previously used plastic screen shields on my Note 4. While they do protect the screen from scratches, I never did like the "feel" of it, even after the original tackiness was gone.

For my 6P, I tried the Yoozon tempered glass. I tried applying it and could never get every single dust speck out. Best I could do is one tiny speck in the upper right corner that isn't noticeable unless you're really looking for it. Nevertheless, I contacted Yoozon and they've already sent me a replacement.

Assuming I can install the replacement correctly with no dust specks, this is a great tempered glass screen protector. It feels nice and smooth. The screen still looks great when I'm using it. It leaves just enough space around the edges that my case works fine. While not as a big of a fingerprint magnet as the plastic screen protectors I've used, it does attract more fingerprints that the Gorilla Glass. Still, it cleans easy enough and seems to be working well. For only $7.95 (Amazon) I would definitely recommend it.

I ordered intelliArmor tempered glass. But like most here have not received it, so I don't have anything protecting the glass...I do have a skinomi protector but I don't deal with wet screen protectors. Didn't realize it was a wet application.

Got an email saying my intelliarmor is shipped and I got a tracking number, no info on whats the delivery date yet.

Yea, got mine delivered today, but I emailed them 2 nights ago that I don't want it. Their support person just said to write 'Refused - return to sender'. They've already reversed my Paypal payment. F'em... Took too dayum long and changed their product design in the process... Morons

Thanks man, I just ordered this combo via Prime shipping. Both should be here early next week! :)

Wow, ordered yesterday, Thursday, and already got both Spigen Rugged Armor case and iVoler screen protector today from Amazon Prime! Woo hoo.. 1 day shipping baby :) Gotta love it

Hope installation goes as well as mine did. Guess I got lucky.

I got my intelliarmor today. Installed it, the bottom right is lifting. It was suggested that I put a clip on it and leave it like that overnight. if that doesnt work, im going to order the supershield and see how that goes.

Edit: the top right is slighty lifting. When i called intelliarmor and mentioned the bottom right, the support person asked me if I had a nexus 6p.

I have the same combo. The lower right corner of the iVoler is a little lifted, but I can live with it because it is below the edge of the Spigen case. Good luck with yours.

My experience with the Supershield was a huge +.......no lifting, good coverage, and looks, feels like a premium TGSP despite only costing $7 with free shipping.

The more I read about the corners, having experienced it myself, the less likely I am to install any tempered glass shield at this point.

With all these reports of lifting I'd be demanding a replacement device from Google since its most likely a manufacturing defect. My tempered glass protector lays completely flat on all edges.

Got the Pleson installed. When I laid it down, the corners and below the speaker were the last to go clear. I smashed 'em down good though, and so far it's held solid.

Also did this in the steamy bathroom after a shower to reduce chance of lint in the air. Pleson gives a nice wet/dry/sticker kit to prep the glass. I didn't drop the glass exactly center, but I did get it on lint-free. Also thanks to bright bathroom mirror light.

Same here, except I decided to remove the Mr Shield which took me longer than any other screen protector to get perfect. I decided to end up switching because of the fingerprints. They are so bad on the Mr Shield screen. Anyway ordered the Yoozon glass screen with the updated cutouts and will say its pretty good so far, much better for fingerprints, feels pretty good, and wasn't such a pita to install.

Just adding my experience with the Yoozon. After seeing many posts about issues with this and even other protectors having problems in the corners, I wanted to make sure I did mine right. I followed instructions to the letter and even swiped for an extra couple minutes with my own microfiber cloth. I installed straight on the very first time (luck or skill I'll take it either way). Then the horror, the left corner wasn't sticking just as I had seen photos about the right corner. I held it down with my thumb for about one minute and that easily fixed the problem. So, now it looks perfect in all corners and I have no complaints. In fact, it was much easier to put on than the Zagg I had on my old phone.

Two things to add from other comments I've seen. I don't know who thought that this protector was not plastic and that it wouldn't bend. If I wanted to add actual glass as one poster thought that the Yoozon was, I would have gotten the Droid Turbo 2. Not quite sure what people are thinking these things are made of. For me, make it durable and just do what it purports to do, not protect it from every unreasonable scenario. Also, in response to another poster regarding how it fits with a case on. I am using the Ringke Fusion, as well as the RedShield slim. The screen protector does not interfere with either case. Hope this helps.

I'm waiting for my Yoozon SP to arrive. Also have the Ringke Fusion case on with the free SP which is actually not too bad. Still want that glass for added protection. Thanks anglebones1 for the tip on installation.

Seems that others on XDA are having issues with theirs not laying down in the same area also. Some have RMAd their device and had no issues. Seems the glass screens may not be completely flat...

Got my IntelliArmor today. Did not get a shipping confirmation.

So are you saying we should RMA our device?
