Someone else also asked this question a few pages back but the reply is not applicable to me.
I flashed the ROM a couple days after it came out, so I have had it a little while. However today, all of a sudden, my contacts disappeared as well as my calendar appointments. After trying to solve what was happening I saw that my Google account has completely disappeared. There is no option in 'Accounts & Sync' nor is it available to be re-added in 'Setup'. Can someone help?
Note: I didn't back up anything with apps, I restored everything manually.
So everything was going well until last night. The camera stopped working, the phone became extremely laggy in every thing. It wasn't able to send texts reliably either. I am getting pretty poor battery drain despite it saying that I am using low current at idle.
I've restarted and battery pulled many times. It takes about 10 minutes to get up to speed after booting. I wonder if I should go back to 1.7 froyo or stock instead.
Would a new radio make a performance difference? such as MR2.5
edit: seems to be working better when not using Juice defender. I wonder if that's the real issue
I had almost the exact same thing happen to me yesterday and I tried for hours to fix it. I eventually figured out that it was loading all my FB contacts, but none of my google or phone contacts. I never did get my phone contacts back (but thankfully had a backup from earlier in the week and just added them to google), but did finally get my google contacts back.Someone else also asked this question a few pages back but the reply is not applicable to me.

hmm I keep getting these popups:
Application Sync Service (In process
com.fusionone.android.sync.service)
is not responding
Application HTC DM(in process com.
htc.android.omadm.service) is not
responding
Also, I can't seem to connect to Verizon's network...
Did I do this wrong?
Completely Wiped everything and installed through SDcard

I was initially having trouble with my calendar not syncing, and saw that my google account was no longer under my accounts. I was able to re-add my google account, which fixed my gmail, g-cal, and g-docs (which I don't use). Unfortunately, I still couldn't get my contacts to sync from my google account.
As I was preparing for a wipe and start-over as a last resort, I came across an option in Ti Backup that fixed my problem. Under the Backup/Restore tab of Ti Backup, there is a process called Google Contacts Sync 2.3.3. I clicked on it, and it said that it was frozen, and gave me an option to "thaw" the process. I did that, and suddenly my contacts between google and the phone began syncing and all was well with the world again. You might check and see if that is the case on your phone. There is also a google calendar sync process that you can do the same thing to.
Don't know what caused that on my phone--it was very annoying and took a lot of my time, but I have a few more places to look if it happens again. Hope it solves your problem for you!
Is anyone other than me getting REALLY poor performance on this rom. Everything is extremely laggy, its almost a joke. But am I the only one?
No, I was just thinking how much faster this rom feels than stock froyo... and I'm on Battsaver mode. What is your memory compiler? You shouldn't change that (das BAMF toolkit) as I got worse performance when I touched it.

I flashed 3.0 RC4 Friday night. Saturday morning I was at 60% battery after 2 hours with very little use (took 2 pictures). The rest of the day I averaged about 15% loss per hour.
I restored my nandroid, downloaded and flashed again (fill wipe then cache and dalvik 3x each) with MR2 flashed about 10 minutes after the ROM. For about 30 minutes everything was fine but then when I typed a text or entered a phone number nothing appeared in the message box.
So I'm back on 1.7 (my 1.8.6 experience was not good but I tried again this morning and had nothing appear in the message box when typing a text).
Is there a version of the new radio I can flash on 1.7? The information is getting overwhelming on the new radio.![]()
