I just loaded this ROM and I love it! it made my phone so much faster! The only problem is that I wish I had a different look on my status bar... Will the remix status bar work on this one?

Someone else also asked this question a few pages back but the reply is not applicable to me.

I flashed the ROM a couple days after it came out, so I have had it a little while. However today, all of a sudden, my contacts disappeared as well as my calendar appointments. After trying to solve what was happening I saw that my Google account has completely disappeared. There is no option in 'Accounts & Sync' nor is it available to be re-added in 'Setup'. Can someone help?

Note: I didn't back up anything with apps, I restored everything manually.

I've been running the ROM since the 4th without out too many hiccups. But the one thing that hasn't fixed itself is when an app is moved to the SD card it loses its icon if it is on the homescreen. Anyone else seeing this, know a fix, or did i just experience a bad flash (I did wipe data/cache/dalvik three times a piece). thanks.

So everything was going well until last night. The camera stopped working, the phone became extremely laggy in every thing. It wasn't able to send texts reliably either. I am getting pretty poor battery drain despite it saying that I am using low current at idle.

I've restarted and battery pulled many times. It takes about 10 minutes to get up to speed after booting. I wonder if I should go back to 1.7 froyo or stock instead.

Would a new radio make a performance difference? such as MR2.5

edit: seems to be working better when not using Juice defender. I wonder if that's the real issue

I would either restore a nandroid backup of this rom from when things were going well, if you made one, or else restore a backup of a different rom that was stable with your phone.

Or, boot to recovery mode, wipe data, clear cache, and clear dalvik cache, and reflash this rom or flash a different rom.

Since this is a Release Candidate, that really just means that it's basically an unfinished product, and there could be some bugs in it. Often a rom will work great for a couple days and then something will get screwy. So it's a good idea to make frequent nandroid backups.

Juicedefender has to run all the time to monitor your phone and do all the other things it does. Often this can actually cause battery drain rather than reduce it.

Changing your radio really shouldn't have anything to do with the camera or laggyness. It might help with battery drain if you get a better signal, bc your phone won't need to boost or search for new signals as often.

I had almost the exact same thing happen to me yesterday and I tried for hours to fix it. I eventually figured out that it was loading all my FB contacts, but none of my google or phone contacts. I never did get my phone contacts back (but thankfully had a backup from earlier in the week and just added them to google), but did finally get my google contacts back.

I was initially having trouble with my calendar not syncing, and saw that my google account was no longer under my accounts. I was able to re-add my google account, which fixed my gmail, g-cal, and g-docs (which I don't use). Unfortunately, I still couldn't get my contacts to sync from my google account.

As I was preparing for a wipe and start-over as a last resort, I came across an option in Ti Backup that fixed my problem. Under the Backup/Restore tab of Ti Backup, there is a process called Google Contacts Sync 2.3.3. I clicked on it, and it said that it was frozen, and gave me an option to "thaw" the process. I did that, and suddenly my contacts between google and the phone began syncing and all was well with the world again. You might check and see if that is the case on your phone. There is also a google calendar sync process that you can do the same thing to.

Don't know what caused that on my phone--it was very annoying and took a lot of my time, but I have a few more places to look if it happens again. Hope it solves your problem for you!

I'm back to using Das BAMF 3.0 rc4 again.... I keep trying other ROMs hoping to find something better, but I keep coming back to this because it works. I finally got CM7 rc1.2 to work, but found I had not GPS when I was out trying to find an address - opened the Google Maps with the location... then it could not find my location, so I did not have any turn-by-turn directions.... AHHHHHHH!!!! So after I finally arrived at my destination I restored my back of this ROM... and Ta-Da my device found my location.

Then I tried INJ3CTTH3ORY V4.6 (DeSense)... I'm not sure why it's called DeSense, because the load file is almost as big as this fully loaded Sense 3.0 version... minus a simple little thing like a clock/alarm clock... why no Alarm clock???

So, I'm back.

hmm I keep getting these popups:

Application Sync Service (In process
com.fusionone.android.sync.service)
is not responding

Application HTC DM(in process com.
htc.android.omadm.service) is not
responding

Also, I can't seem to connect to Verizon's network...
Did I do this wrong?
Completely Wiped everything and installed through SDcard

I had this same issue, then when I did research, I realized that I had to upgrade the wireless radio. If you did the easy root procedure, you'll have PG05IMG.zip file in the root of your SD Card. You need to download a 2.0 or 2.5 radio and rename it to the same thing as that file's name in order to go to the Bootloader to install the radio. Your issue happens whenever you are using the 1.0 radio. If you have questions, you can send me a private message and I can attempt to help you out. I know this answer isn't very verbose.

Thanks, I couldn't find a fix earlier on so I just flashed a new ROM, I'm now on the preview of RC5. It's been working well so far, but if the issue comes up again I'll try your method.

Is anyone other than me getting REALLY poor performance on this rom. Everything is extremely laggy, its almost a joke. But am I the only one?

No, I was just thinking how much faster this rom feels than stock froyo... and I'm on Battsaver mode. What is your memory compiler? You shouldn't change that (das BAMF toolkit) as I got worse performance when I touched it.

where do you check for that option? I'm thinking about reflashing again

I flashed 3.0 RC4 Friday night. Saturday morning I was at 60% battery after 2 hours with very little use (took 2 pictures). The rest of the day I averaged about 15% loss per hour.

I restored my nandroid, downloaded and flashed again (fill wipe then cache and dalvik 3x each) with MR2 flashed about 10 minutes after the ROM. For about 30 minutes everything was fine but then when I typed a text or entered a phone number nothing appeared in the message box.

So I'm back on 1.7 (my 1.8.6 experience was not good but I tried again this morning and had nothing appear in the message box when typing a text).

Is there a version of the new radio I can flash on 1.7? The information is getting overwhelming on the new radio.

Hm, so it seems to have different results on different phones.. I guess that's not really helpful. I might try one more time, I didn't wait long at all before flashing the new radio after the rom. if not I'll go back to 1.7 and figure out how to get the MR2 radio for froyo lol

Happened to me and nothing above worked. I also noticed some really odd behavior from apps, and when I went to uninstall them, they were going crazy. Also, it seemed as though all of the Gapps were not working. I had to wipe and reflash the ROM.

I am going to make sure that I allow Google to Sync fully. Thanks for the information above.

I am too, I wonder if it has anything to do with what caused my Gapps to disappear.

From what I can tell, it was something that I was restoring from Titanium that was messing up the ROM. When I let everything download from the market and selectively restored data to a few critical apps, it appears as if everything is working just fine now.

Not sure if my titanium's last backup was from a ASOP ROM that made a difference or not, but I am glad that I am up and running again. :p
