Quick Question? Why do we rename files PG05IMG when we send them to the root file on the SD card and do we need to rename everything that way?

I never renamed the BAMF Sense 3.0 file and it worked. But I did rename the radio file and the rooting files as well.

I think that is the file name the firm ware is looking for. I don't think I renamed the ROM file. Just ran that from Clockwork Mod, or actually I guess I was in Restore(?). But I picked the file named as it was. I think you have to rename official radios and stuff like that.

Anything flashed in hboot (radio or full ruu) has to be named PG05IMG.zip since that's what it's looking for as mentioned above. If you notice when you go to flash something in hboot, it'll say "searching for..." or something like that. Those are the only file names it recognizes. When flashing roms in CWM, you can name it almost anything.

Installed yesterday... then I attempted to install CM7, but ran into a Radio issue... while I had an operational Radio with BAMF Sense 3.0 RC3 and RC4 using MR2.5... I had never tried or attempted to load MR2 on my device before, but I thought I'd try it with CM7 to get it to work... no luck... so I restored from my backup with my RC4 version of BAMF and still was using MR2 radio.

Signal is better on MR2 then MR2.5... MR2.5 would bounce between 3 and 4 out of 5 bars at home, and I mean bounce just laying in the same place... with MR2 I see 5 out of 6 bars at home... I guess I should have tried both radio's before settling on one.

Is there anyway to change the Left Rosie button to whatever I want like messaging... I thought thats what was stated in the change log unless I read it wrong... that may be the down fall for me if I cant change it.. and I really don't want to use ADW

Also... I tried the mr2 and mr2.5 radios and I am getting better results with the 2.5 radio...

Just ran across this, seems to work well, the artwork stays the same for me though. I too have been running 2.5 without any issues, but I have not tried 2.0. i do have to wait about 2 minutes for 4g with this rom.

Can anyone reccomend the best overclock speed setting? I'm at 1.5 and my device is not as responsive as it was with stock rooted. I just dont want to damage by overclocking too much.

I've been at 1.2 for a day and have been happy with that. Personally my Droid X was faster running a custom ROM, but i believe it is Sense that is the bottle neck on the Bolt's. Run an ASOP on the Bolt and it'll fly unclocked. Also I was running 1.4 while I was on 2.1 remix and it seemed good there. But i may not be noticing what you are.

ROM is great but my sounds (ringing, notifications, etc.) are now softer than usual. Even when I play with volume it doesn't make a difference when the
sound actually plays. Is this a new bug or am I missing something? Sound was not an issue before flashing this.
Also, when flashing the weather fix, do I do it the same as the ROM (in Clockwork then select) or do i rename it PG05IMG and place it in the root folder like when flashing a radio?

Turn airplane mode on and back off to solve this issue. Mine does the same to me.

D'oh. I turned on sound in the weather app and now it force closes and I can't get back onto options. WTF!?

Try clearing data for Weather under Manage Applications.

Haven't seen anything about this around really - my sounds all work correctly except for about an hour the other night my navigation volume was unusually quiet - i rebooted twice and it was back to normal.

I think I figured it out. Went to the Sound Settings and made sure all sounds were at max and unchecked the box that tied notification volume with ringer. Sounds seem to be back to normal.

BTW,this ROM rocks!! THX Bamf team!

everything seems to be working fine now, the only issue left is i dont get my vm notifications i have to reboot the phone then i get the notification. after i listen to my voicemails and delete them the vm icon doesnt go away. is there a fix for this?
