I think he forgot to mention that he may have been charged from google at least but did not receive an email.

I think more people order the 16GB but really doesn't seem to matter because regardless what people ordered it seems at random who gets charged and a email confirmation.

Maybe because it is the model they sent to the stores. You would think they would have planned for that.

I would have to agree...it all seems completely random...remember that South Park episode where they chop off the chickens head and where it drops is the next decision? That is how we are getting our Nexus 7...it is that random and botched!!

I've had two pre-charge authorizations come and go. The second hit on Thursday of last week. No email; no update on my GP order and nothing through My UPS.

Looks like the ppl at ordered over the 7/2-7/6 are all in the same boat and received nothing....

Ordered the 16GB version on the 29th of June,initial charge appeared on my bank account for about a week and the full amount has just now been taken from same account,also the device now appears at the top of my Google Play "My Orders & Settings" page with today's date next to it.

No shipping Email yet but expecting that tonight,although in the UK our devices are be shipped by TNT and not UPS.

As Google promised not to charge until the device has shipped,I'm hopeful of receiving mine within the next couple of days.

But then there are people who ordered from GP 7/10 who have received communications and shipment info...this really sucks!! Ordered two devices, 1 16GB and 1 8GB 7/6 and have heard nothing. Spoke to GP CS and they said I will receive a shipment email today or tomorrow. If I don't I was told to call back again.

I also ordered on the 10th...8GB, no case. Got my tracking number Friday night. It currently says it's in-transit from Louisville and I'll have it tomorrow. I'm shocked that it's happening this quickly considering I just ordered it less than a week ago, but it's on the way nonetheless.

Still have pending charge on credit card, has still not gone away.

No email, no tracking number.

Here's how i figure it. Their OFFICIAL word on their phone systems says that ALL pre-orders will be shipped (not just label printed) by Wednesday.

If i don't have a tracking number by Wednesday, i'm going to call up to Google's CS and start complaining. Until then, just going to wait it out.

EDIT: just saw on their help page that all US pre-orders should be shipped by tomorrow actually (the 17th)
