71% battery to 30% in 3 hours. ..normal?

Just got it today. My s5 lasted 2 days between charging. Just wondering. ...it's been heavily used in those hours though.

Definitely not unusual to experience really bad battery the first few days.

Initial setup, you tweaking it, downloading updates, system compiling and indexing.

Yes that's normal on day one. Heavy use and everything is updating. It takes about a week to get true readings.
