That's where it's supposed to be, yes, but check the pic. It's in the quick settings
I don't have that or the percentage number on the quick settings. WTH
I realize that's the battery. I should see the device percentage, however, next to the word "connected" on the screenshot I shared above. The percentage in my screen shot is phone battery. Not sure why you aren't seeing the Bluetooth level though
As soon as I pull down my notifications. Can anybody see these levels on their Pixel XL?
Ah, that explains that.Ok, I've gotten to the bottom of it. It's about the device. Some support it, some don't. I just paired with my son's BT speaker and I got it to show. Yet for my Jabra headset and my car audio dongle it doesn't.
Here's something interesting. My son's XL has the full color G in the search bar at the bottom. Mine is white. What's yours?Ah, that explains that.
As for your other points, keep in mind the beta went through a few changes so not everything is the same as the original 8.1 beta build. Finally, for the record, my phone has the full color G logo in the app drawer but some of this should be chalked up to Google being Google. They like to blind test random stuff like the appearance of the Google page in the launcher, for example
It's does for some devices on my phone.I got 8.1 last night. My Cowin E7, Senso 250 airbuds, Commando Plus Shark all do not show the battery level. I'm not convinced this is working at all.
Now that they've finally brought the functionality to Android I'd be surprised if you don't see improvements to its presentation as we go forward in future versions. Some devices just don't report it. I'm on 8.1 now and it still works. Didn't realize they put it on the tile though, still I wish it was up there next to the clock.//uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171215/edf51804b674ab01d589354d8f2441ef.jpg//uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171215/b6770bc60698fd8bd594652ac55ed518.jpg
I'm pretty sure this has to do with the background wallpaper. For instance, if I use a dark wallpaper, the G is a light gray color. However, is I use a light wallpaper, the G is dark. I don't what what prompts the multicolored G, though. Here's something interesting. My son's XL has the full color G in the search bar at the bottom. Mine is white. What's yours?
Actually no. The G is staying white for both dark and light wallpapers. Don't understand it!I'm pretty sure this has to do with the background wallpaper.
