Yes, I've activated full time 90fps display but scrolling is nowhere near as smooth as I expected. The S20 FE I used for a few days was nearly as smooth as iOS has been for a number of years.

The 5 is overall smoother than my 3XL, but it glitches a bit as it slows and then it stops somewhat abruptly. I know, 90 is in between 60 and 120 and I shouldn't expect to get FE level performance. But from the reviews and comments I've read I expected better.

Anything I might try? Is it possible I have a defective unit?

Thanks

Try going into developer options and turning down your 3 scale options. See belowScreenshot_20201208-171219.jpg

I don't force it on my pixel 5 via developer settings as the adaptive smooth display is sufficient for me however if you force 90 hz to be on all the time via dev settings you will notice the significant improvement on it being butter smooth all the time.

FYI, I do have 90hz force-on. The scaling adjustment helped a lot.......

Thanks to both of you. Any other ideas welcome.
