Uh, actually, it would not be disrespectful or anything else if they came out with another $199 Nexus with better specs at all. What is being talked about here is a $99 Nexus and if it were the same as the $200 one that would be a problem, but it would not be the same at that price point. Just like any other corporation, they want profits, period. It probably cost all of $40 to make these $200 models and they are not about to sacrifice $100 profit per unit leaving only $60 profit and not with the popularity currently.
I'm usually not an early adopter at all and was going to get (now old) Kindle Fire, but read about new ones coming out and decided to wait. So I ultimately ended up with a N& and being an early adopter. Then again, what defines an early adopter anymore? With the phone and tablet market the way it is your almost forced into early adoption because they come out with a new model every two weeks! (I hate that). I adopted Win XP at about the 1 year from death mark. I was recently forced into WIN7 with my new PC and that is already dying to make room for Win8 (which I want nothing to do with because I already hate Win 7). I do my best to avoid early adoption in all things, but it's getting harder everyday.
