Who here has pushed the limit with how much bandwidth they have downloaded in a month? The VZ hotspot plan I have is 2gigs. Wondering if anyone here has been tagged for the free wifi on root? Not that I am too worried as I really don't use much more than a few megs a month (maybe a bit more in summer). But... if I got stuck camping... wondering if I could stream netflix on my laptop without VZ getting all upset.

A) Streaming Netflix while camping would require a GOOD signal. If you've got one, you're camping wrong =P
B) If you get a connection, it will be low-definition. Netflix bases video quality on the speed/quality of your connection at the time you connect to their streaming service. (Yay for repeating multiple key words, multiple times!)
C) I just read somewhere that Canadian Netflix streamers used up to 30GB/month. I'm rooted and I haven't been burned for hotspot usage, but then again I don't use it too often. I'm personally more inclined to use hotspot for my Kindle than my laptop.

I've hit 30gb once or twice while my wifi was down, heard nothing from VZW. I wouldn't push it every month, but you should be ok for your "camping" trip.:D
