A few simple questions from a first time user

I use the free version of Nova (on a Galaxy S4 for full disclosure). I'm mostly using it to change the grid and the rest of the stuff is just neat extras. I don't get too crazy with customizing beyond that so I can't justify paying for the full version.

Going "forward" in a browser will be app dependent. They usually have an option to go forward if you hit the menu button and some of them have gestures you can set up.

The "back" button is a tough one to really grasp. It seems like in most instances there are a couple ways it could work and it works the way any given person wants it to in any given situation about 3/4 of the time. So 25% of the time it won't take you to where you want, and the situations where that 25% shows up is different for everyone.

Something you'll have to get used to is that many times there isn't a single way that "Android" works. A lot of it is more app dependent than system dependent. It's different from iOS where all apps have to conform to a single way of working. Both ways have advantages and disadvantages but it's important to know that difference exists.

Thanks I see what you mean. I wasn't expecting the back button to switch between apps when I first used it. Since it's not a hard button, sometimes I tap more than once. I thought forward would be system wide since it's the opposite of going back so should be just as useful IMO.

You can try to reinstall Go Launcher again and then uninstall all the apps.

For the browser, I don't need to go forward but I've read that in Chrome there's a way but I can't remember how to do it.

The stock browser doesn't have that, at least to my knowledge.
