A gray triangle with a white exclamation mark pops up on Android tablet

[Android Central Question]

When this happens tablet freezes up and says sim processor. I've tried to force stop it but gets warning that says may cause apps to act up. Help!

Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet? Does it show up as a big icon in the middle of the screen with nothing else showing? What's the exact message? It seems unlikely that all it would say is "sim processor."
