A LOT of Bad Problems!

So, my phone's home screen (Apex launcher) just gets really laggy. Sometimes my Apex Launcher stops being smooth when moving through pages (slow fps), and I have to restart my whole phone. I've tried using clean manager, manually deleting cache etc., but only a clean restart seems to fix that. I seem to be going around 90% of RAM sometimes. It's ONLY apex launcher that gets this bad fps, when it does. Others are smooth...

My stock browser, if I try to just go to "Google.com", it goes to one of my previous searches and I have to use a different browser to use google.

My camera constantly loses it's extra options. It's there sometimes, but after using it, and waiting for a bit, it's gone. I have to delete the camera memory to get it back in my settings. Also, this one time, I wanted to take a picture of this cool thing this guy had when he was passing by and tried to get my camera out to take a picture. I would click the button to shoot, but nothing would happen. I couldn't change modes either. Tried to delete it from the task manager, go back to it, and that didn't work. It finally "un-froze" like a minute later after the guy left. That was very irritating.

Also, sometimes I just press my home button, and it doesn't go home, but instead slightly freezes and goes to the app manager, as if I held down the home button. I disabled S-voice, btw.

There's also that "ErrActivation" app in task manager every boot.

What do I do -____-

EDIT: Also, I forgot to mention that sometimes the air view doesn't work on certain parts of the screen unless I restart...

I would start with a factory reset in all honesty. With that many problems I would jump straight to that.

I've done a factory reset already for trying to fix the camera missing options. It didn't work for that...

EDIT: Also, the apex launcher only gets laggy SOMETIMES. I'm not sure what makes it laggy, and it only seems to be the problem with Apex. The touchwiz, although laggy on its own, and nova launcher, go launcher, next launcher, etc., experience no lag...

I DID just now fix the stock browser by deleting it's settings etc... but honestly, the problem is just "why" does it do it in the first place.

I think I'd try a different launcher if I were you. Maybe also try reverting back to Touchwiz. Then you can see if it's a problem just with the apex launcher or a more general problem with the phone.

try nova launcher. Its honestly probably apex. It hasnt been updated in a while. And I havent had the best luck with apex either.

Are you on apex free or pro. I used pro didn't have any major issues, the free version I did have drawing issues when flicking through homescreens where you could see a blue outline of the page while flicking, I figured it was a limitation in the free version because it wasn't there in the paid.
Otherwise, when you are using apex, do you still have widgets/shortcuts and such on your stock browser, may be that could cause some issue.
I really like Apex, runs smoothly for me.

I go back and forth between apex and nova. Like both a lot but slightly prefer apex.

Both have been very stable for me.

I tend to switch when some bug pops up that annoys me.

I too have had bad experience with the s4. Im just sick of the bad battery life. Im tired of the lag. Oh the horrible lag!! Im tired of the garbage predictive text. The way wifi likes to go on/off on/off on/off and each damn tkme it goes on, the msg "now connected to xxxx wifi network" covers my friggin keyboard.

Yeah, revert back to stock and see how it goes. If it's still messing up I would get a replacement because then you will have proved it's not software. As for the guy with the bad battery life, you may want to check and see if your battery is faulty. I hear a lot of people have had faulty batteries and it's been causing atrocious battery life

Yeah, it's Apex I believe. The other launchers aren't laggy at the times apex is.

Yep I have a bunch of different launchers. I really liked Nova, but the biggesttttttttt problem with it was that it "stutters" when I start to move through home screens. It's that quick jolt in the very beginning as I'm moving through home screens that I really didn't like.

I have free version! I just know that the "blue" edges were only on the tablet transition. I think there was an option to turn it off and on?

Sure I should? I've already done it one-two times.

Again, I tried to fix the camera losing its modes. It didn't fix it. The one with the camera not working only happened once, the only time I had to take a picture quickly (whats the odds lol).

How do I get a replacement?

Thanks everybody!!!!

EDIT: Was playing with my brothers new S4, and his seems to have the same problem with disappearing modes. We both only have 6 of the 12, till we delete camera settings etc.

Double EDIT: I found out they only disappear if I use the front camera. So I guess that's not a problem anymore! Just that one time of it not taking a shot -,-

I have no idea what's going on with yours... I don't use the free version of Apex anymore though. Just the paid app. I switch between that and Touchwiz depending on my mood. No problems so far... And I have experienced the camera problem you have. :( So sorry I can't help.

By the way... Is your phone rooted or all on stock?
