Maybe the surprise is 2.3.4 for all Nexus S (both Sprint and Tmobile).

I wouldn't be at all surprised since the hands on Nexus many tech sites were able to try in March had it on the device already....

The EVO shipped before an update was sent. When EVO owners received their phone on day one an update ran when you started the phone up.

Could be possible. They could have a code complete build, then loaded the NS4G. officially launch 2.3.4 to everyone one else May 8, when the NS4G launches.

Well, it means that the EVO 3D and the other new phones will be behind in os versions for a bit. I think the Nexus S 4g will come with 2.3.4 tho. That would make sense would it not? Wonder what else is coming from Google this week?
