Homemade spinach lasagna last night. This came together very nicely.

I find it interesting as a society how we have evolved. The "standard" tea and coffee cups we used to use (with saucers back then) in comparison to the "mugs" that most of us now normally use, for example.

As another example, when I was young we used to always get McDonald's coupons given out at Halloween. The Fries and Drink that we would get from those were way smaller than what is served nowadays. A standard sized soft-drink, coffee or milkshake for example seemed maybe be no bigger than a basic plain Styrofoam Cup.

I totally agree! Things are so different now! I love these little espresso cups - but we use them for coffee too! No size is wrong when coffee is involved! :)

This is weird. I made pancakes this morning and you have the exact same syrups that we have..well the real Maple syrup brand might be different. I prefer real and she prefers "fake".

Whoah! We are from Canada - Ontario, specifically. But I guess those brands could be anywhere! Yay for pancakes!

Yay for real Maple syrup!

Down here in the southern part of North America, we prefer Vermont Maple syrup. We can never find Canadian syrup down here. Doesn't matter to me. Real maple syrup or nothing. The fake stuff is just that, fake. There is no comparison to the real thing.

Absolutely! I actually hail from Québec - so perhaps I'm a maple syrup snob. I'm okay with that! :)
About 20 years ago I spent a week in Old Quebec City. I was living in upstate New York at the time. When I told some friends I was going there many said the French Canadians disliked Americans and are very rude. In preparation I took two semesters of Adult Ed conversational French.
The wonderful people of Quebec proved the rumors of rudeness to be so far off track. They were so warm, friendly, and very welcoming. And very tolerant of my struggling rudimentary french...at least I tried. One person I met at the hotel even commented that it was appreciated I made the effort.
I had a wonderful visit.

Our first Hello Fresh experience was a winner. Crispy parmesan chicken w/lemon roasted carrots and garlic herb couscous. I'll shout out Mr. Mobile's reviews for finally convincing my wife to try it. Great sponsor.
