Access for saving files to SD card denied?

I just upgraded from 5.1.1 on my Moto G3 to Marshmallow, and I have to say, I'm not really liking it so far. Wished I didn't jump so soon for the update...

One of the things that bugs me the most is how I can't save files to my SD card. So far, this problem only occurs on the web browsers I use. I was able to save to my SD card on Boat Browser in 5.1.1, but not 6.0.

Is this a problem occurring for everyone, or just me? Is there a workaround?

Make sure you've given Boat Browser (or any other browser) permission to access Storage. Settings > Apps > Specific App > Permissions

I got same problem that I could not save files created by Doc and Sheet to SD card, and could not write to USB OTG although ES Explorer can recognize it.
