I think it'll handle small everyday drops just fine but I'm still going to put on a glass screen protector just for the extra protection.

I've gotten two different responses from Seidio:

1. We will not be producing cases for the U11.
2. Cases for the U11 will be available in July.

Hope they make a kickstand one!

I need a longer charge/sync cable than the one htc included in the box. I was thinking of going for this 6' Anker one:

Have others used Anker? Is there another cable I should go for instead? The cable linked above does mention it's compatible with the htc 10 so am I safe getting it?

I own several Anker products (chargers, cables, etc.) and all have worked perfectly. I think they are a reliable brand and stand by their products.

Where did you get the idea from? It has a hole for the mic.

Both the Dual Pro and Octane appear to block the hole between the speaker and the usb-c port on the bottom.

Got the liquid Crystal Spigen case and it's so much better than the OEM case. I don't understand why HTC didn't just cover all the sides with it's case.

Not sure what that little hole is, but its not a mic. There are four total. One on the bottom, one on top, one the back, and one on the front up next to the ear piece...

I didn't think it was a mic either because the hole is smaller than the mic holes. However I chatted with someone on HTC chat and he said it was a mic but I know sometimes the people on HTC chat are clueless as to what they're talking about. It doesn't seem like Incipio would forget just one mic hole. I wrote them and I'm still waiting to hear from them.

Received mine today and it sure looks like sufficient protection for minor scrapes to the front.
