I noticed it says that it is incompatible with the Moto X Style/Pure in the details.

So it definitely doesn't shut off without charging after several seconds?

I bought the Tenergy 10400 battery (which appears to be identical to the Aukey 10400.) It shuts off about as soon as the "Turbocharger Connected" message pops up. I'm returning that and hoping there's a quick charge battery that will actually work.

The Aukey PB-T4 works with my pure edition (x1575) hiccups like that once in awhile, not verry often though. I'm returning it though as i found the 15k version for $19.99 with this coupon $10 off GEQE4ZXD*at check out. The offer is running until January 5th*2016). Hopefully this one works well, I will update as soon as I get it.

Definitely would like to know what you think of it, especially the size, and if it works as reliably as the 10k you had.

I saw that deal on the 15k, but went with the 10k for the same price with a $5 discount code, mainly because I like the size/weight better.

I received the Aukey PB-T4 10000mah battery yesterday. I plugged my MXPE into it to test it out. It did charge the phone without disconnecting!

My MXPE started at 81% and charged to 96% in only 20 minutes. It slowed down quite a bit at that point, presumably because the phone was close to a full charge. I got to say I'm very happy with the speed and performance. Hopefully it continues to perform just as well!

Car Charger?

Has anyone found a good car charger for the MXPE?

I have an after-market quick charge 2.0 car charger for my turbo (forget exactly what brand) that has either died or just won't work with the Pure. I have the same brand of charger in my house as a spare wall charger, and it charges the phone, but at a much slower rate, and (weird) the screen will NOT go to sleep using that charger.

Both of these are qualcomm 2.0 quick chargers that worked fine with my Droid turbo.

So, is this a charger "brand" problem I'm having, or is the MXPE more sensitive to a particular version of qualcomm 2.0 ?

I've stopped using both of the after-market chargers, and found that my original Droid turbo charger works fine as a spare in the house, but I still need something for the car. Any suggestions?

Do you need a special car charger? I tried the other day with my standard charger for the first time it didn't charge. Stayed at 15% for over 10 min?

I THINK its supposed to work with any charger, but charging will take longer without the turbo charger. But the fact that my older quick-charge devices don't play nice with my Pure makes me wonder...

I had similar problems with car chargers until I bought an Anker 36W Dual USB Car Charger PowerDrive+ 2 on Amazon. Also seems to charge non quick charge devices faster. On ething to note is that charge rate can depend on the quality of the cable.

Always having phones with removable batteries, I never needed one before. I'd like to avoid the cheap, potentially damaging ones I see on Amazon, but I'm not familiar with the brands. Can someone suggest a quality power bank?

I have an Anker Astro E5 and have been happy with it. Used it with my 2013 Moto X and use it with my Samsung tablet. If you want to still use it for years in the future, I'd look for one that has both USB-A and USB-C (Anker does make one with both).

If you are going to carry one...might as well get the most juice you can. This one has 26,800mAh which is one of the largest before you get into behemoth size. It's bigger than a deck cards but still very portable in a bag or backpack. Not made for the pocket. But it will provide many charges for your phone, tablet, headphones, whatever....

Hey I made a thread 2 or 3 months ago about how my Motorola charger didn't work right out of the box and what I should do, what I did was that I used my old phones charger and it worked like a normal phone (it didn't turbo charge, it just charged) but now just yesterday my charger stopped working so now I have to buy a new one and I wanna know which one I should buy. Please help!!
