Where's is the G4 love with the aftermarkets??? S6 is like the android iPhone, they make any and everything for it (all I want is a purpose built waterproof case). What about us G4's. With the cameras being on par, always having a charging point close by, and not really needing the expandable storage......I'm thinking of jumping ship, I LOVE KIT! (O.<)

Unfortunately although LG makes great phones there is no guarantee how many will sell. Apple and Samsung consistently sell millions and millions. I'm sure the aftermarket for the G4 will improve. Might just take a little time.

This. You can be a drone and have all the accessories you shake a stick at, or select a unique phone that best suites your needs, and suffer the lesser offerings available. I've been choosing the latter over the former since the HTC EVO, and while I do have minor regrets, they are minor compared to having the phone I want.

The aftermarket caters to Samsung and Apple more because that is what the average person is buying who doesn't pay as detailed attention to what they're getting under the hood. They go in the store buy what the salesman says is best or what looks flashiest and be on their way.

I would check with toastmade . Com, they make real wooden stickers for a lot of phones. I had a set for my nexus 5 and it was really nice. Plus going up to people and asking them if they want to touch my wood is always funny

The only water proof ones are the universal bags. All of the cases there are only resistant, and they say not to submerge the phone. I want something purpose built, that if my kayak rolls over again, I don't care about it

I was really just looking for a wooden back. Not so much a case, though a couple of those look pretty good.
