I can not connect to the internet at Starbucks. I have tried the neverssl and example methods, but now nothing gets me to connect to the portal at Starbucks. Not secure.
 
This has been a bugaboo that I've experienced on my Chromebooks for a while. Sometimes it helps to fiddle with your DNS settings. In the ChromeOS settings, go to Network, select the wi-fi network, then make sure Automatic Name Servers is selected under Name Servers.

Also, in Privacy & Security, make sure Select DNS Provider is set to Network Default.

I've found that sometimes, it shows not connected, but if you open up a browser, the first thing it does is navigate to the TOS page...you click agree, and the remainder of the connection happens.
