I get the same issue of being stuck on the splash on.3.

Version .2 works perfectly fine though.

I wonder if this is a file-system issue...perhaps the ext4 format script is not working properly. That could cause a freeze at the first splash screen.

Well crap. I don't have the 0.2 on my SD card anymore, so I can't flash back to that, and the 0.3 RC is stuck on the boot screen. I've tried wiping /data and /cache to no avail. Tried re-flashing the .zip with no success.

So, for the moment, until I can figure out a way to get the 0.2 file on my SD card, I'm pretty much out of luck.

Ok, so maybe I'm doing something wrong?

When you say that the 0.3 RC is just the flashable zip, you mean it can be installed by holding U on boot, and install from zip, right?

I don't think it works, no one has reported success. I'd go back to a backup, 0.2 or get stock from firehak.com

To get 0.2 on your SD card, can't you just take it out and put it in a computer?

No worries, Firehak, that's why it's called a candidate, right?

Rodya, yeah, I could just put it in a computer, which I did. At the time that I wrote that post yesterday, though, I was at work, and didn't have a micro-sd reader to work with.

I'm back and running on 0.2 now.

Question about 0.3
When I decide to make the jump from 0.2 to 0.3, will I lose all the "stuff" I've downloaded (and the data - photos, docs, etc.) or does it only overwrite like an "update"?

I tried to make a TAR using just the boot.img and recovery.img. (Like the .2 release had.) In ODIN, it hangs at "BOOT".

Sorry, work has been a bit hectic.. My shifts have been back and forth between 7am-5pm and 4pm-midnight.. When I work nights and then go in again at 7am I pretty much fall asleep as soon as I get home. I did have an idea that if I take the original fa19 installer and remove all lines save for the modem installation, we could then let you install 0.3 RC. I'll try to get it tonight. I promise I haven't forgotten you guys, I've just been way busier than I'm used to!
