So its been almost 3 weeks since i got my S10 Plus.and i feel that the Adaptive Brightness isnt as quick as my Mate 20 Pro or my S9 Plus.

I have reset Adaptive Brightness around 3 to 4 times but its still slow.anyone have a solution??

Manually increase it? If you set it up to max brightness and it still feels like it's too dim, then you can't do much I'm afraid (other than choosing 'bright' colors like white or light blue).

Owh im sorry i forgot to mention.i mean slow in decreasing the brightness.its working but takes a second or two longer than my previous phones to adjust.

Ah! Yeah, that is expected since the sensors work differently now because of the reduced bezels and under-the-screen-everything. Unfortunately nothing you can do to change that (other than modifying the OS code on how these are handled).

Owh...i guess i missed out that part...so its not just me i guess.

I noticed with my Note 8 ever since I got Pie that the adaptive display has been on the dimmer side compared to Oreo version would normally be and also the change in brightness slow to change. I find it a bit annoying wanting to be brighter at times where with Oreo I was happy with it under most lighting situations.

So I don't think it's due to different sensors or stuff like that. If S10 owners are experiencing it I suspect Samsung has done it on purpose. Dimmer than usual and slow to keep changing... Little tricks to keep battery drain down.

Ah make sense. And maybe to take care of the battery. Protect it from power surge perhaps..
