added hdmi kernel and camera screen turned white

I rooted my phone with gingerbread and revolutionary s-off. Worked great!! then i i wanted to mirror my phone through my hdmi cable so i tried the hdmi kernel and the full hdmi beta apk. then my camera screen went white. i deleted both of hem from my sd card and rebooted. still no luck... can someone help me so i can get my camera to work again. Thanks.

Are you still on the rooted stock rom? if so, you need to flash a "sence" kernel. ASOP kernals wont work.

I thought TeamWin had developed CM7 kernels that allowed for HDMI out?
If I want HDMI out, am I stuck using Sense based ROMs/Kernels?
