Adding Circle Battery Mod

I'm running the Galaxy S from a Samsung Vibrant dump theme and was wondering how I might go about adding the Circle Battery Mod to this theme.

I know there are similar themes to this one that have this particular feature already, but there are subtle differences and I hoped that this would be a good opportunity for me to learn something new.

Go to UOT Kitchen and create a flashable zip with the mods that you want your theme to have. That's what I did. They have TONS to choose from

Use ADB to grab your framework-res.apk (/system/framework) and then visit the kitchen above... and use that to generate a new framework-res.apk that includes the icon's and what not that you'd like...

And then add that back to your phone... (make sure you have a nandroid before you do this so you can recover if things go poorly.)

Are you familiar with adb commands, etc?

Read the uot instructs carefully. Just start with one or two mods first. Get a copy of the files they said (framework.apk) and keep on ur pc to upload when u finish making a theme. Then flash the zip u get.

Not really that comfortable with ADB commands but I manage here and there.

Went to UOT and gave it a few tries. Still haven't managed to get it to work the way I want it, but I'll give it another go until I've sorted it out.

You can also just use the framework-res.apk from the galaxy theme zip you have. That's probably the easiest way. Also choose amend scripting at the end of the kitchen on the page where you upload the framework.
