Adobe AIR not showing in list of apps to open .air files

I have a .air file, and Adobe AIR. When I open Adobe AIR, it doesn't show my .air file anywhere and I can't open it as it's not on the list to open files with an app.
This is extremely frustrating as I'm doing exactly what the tutorials say and that one step to open the .air file is the one I can't get past. Is there any app that can force open a file with ANY app instead of restricting it to a small list?

Okay, made an account. I thought posting this would prompt me to make one before it posted. Okay, since I cannot edit it, basically "I can't open it as it's not on the list to open files with an app" is an extremely dumb way I worded this. It should be something along the lines of "I can't tap it and open it with Adobe AIR when prompted which app to open it with as Adobe AIR isn't on that list".

Many apps. The list is long but a few are missing including Adobe AIR. This goes for every file manager app I've used. If I use the default one, it says there are no apps for .air files.

Try uninstalling then install and reboot the phone

How did you get Adobe Air app it's not listed in Google play store when I check , this function probably not available on mobile?

They do,dont mean they will work as intended
