I've had Verizon for more than a decade. I can't remember my last dropped call. That is until now. Since "upgrading" to Voice 1.0 I've had 4 dropped calls in the past two days. Same places that I always call.
This is from the Verizon FAQ Page about Advanced Calling 1.0
Will my call be handed off automatically when I move from the 3G network to the 4G LTE network and vice versa with Advanced Calling 1.0?
No, calls won’t switch between 3G and 4G LTE networks. If your call starts on the 3G network and you move to a 4G LTE coverage area, your call will continue as a 3G/CDMA call. However, if your call starts on the 4G LTE network and you move to a non-4G coverage area, your call will drop.

Has anyone else noticed that when you tap on your favorites it no longer just dials your default number for them? You have to manually select the number that you want to dial, even if there is only one number? I HATE that!

I love the visual voicemail that is now available for free with Volte calling. It is marvelous to just open voice mail and see your messages there and just play them like any audio recording. No more drawn out, " You have 3 new !messages and 2 old messages. Old messages will be deleted, first new message" ....yada yada yada. You just see the one you want and hit play. Quick and easy. Yay! VM is back!

Visual voice mail added a free tier last July.
Like Cincybearcatfan, I've used Google Voice for VM on my phone since I had an Android phone, but I am thinking about just going with the free option, since you can't disable the Voice Mail app on the phone anymore anyway (that also started with the 4.4.4 update in July.)
Nahh, there is no way I would replace Google Voice with Visual Voice Mail - I got way to attached to the options and flexibility of Google Voice.
