Advice needed -- May go with Nexus 4 & AT&T Straight Talk Unlimited

The first month of trouble my home internet went out for a few days and I tethered a bit. Hit about 2 GB.

The second month my use was very modest, around 200 MB.

It seemed like it was the time left in the billing cycle rather than how much data I'd used. When it took 3 minutes to get a manual refresh on a Gmail account with 5 bars of H, I knew it was time to leave ST.

Yep same thing happened to me. Got great coverage but load times were terrible. Trying out T-Mobile now. Might try net10 with their AT&T Sim card maybe they don't throttle since they have the cap of 1.5gb now Idk though.

A friend of mine got his iPhone 4S unlocked from AT&T and switched to ST/AT&T about 2 or 3 months ago. I talk to him periodically about his experiences, and he's never had a single word of complaint. In fact, he's said that his data speeds have never been faster, and everything works unbelievably well. For him, going to T-Mo was not an option because he has zero reception in the area he lives (his neighborhood plus a radius of ca. 2 miles on all sides) or at his place of work, whereas AT&T gives him full signal strength pretty consistently everywhere he's at.

Is there a way to tell the difference between AT&T and Tmo sim cards? SKU or another model number? The store I went to supposedly has both according to previous post. I don't want AT&T.

T-mobile SIM cards have one less number in the ICCID (SIM #)
