Afraid to Update to Android 12. Cons and Pros of Android 12?

Hi guys, I just got an update notification for my Unlocked Note 10 plus. Bought it straight from Samsung's CPO website.

I don't run any custom ROMs or launchers. Might look into launchers later on.

What have been the experience with the new update. Any issues like bad battery life, sluggishness, worse camera, gps, etc

I have been wary of updating my devices as I believe Samsung delibrately worsens the phones with each update

Well I've had it installed for about a month. I have no complaints. Unlocked Exynos 256 GB ROM Note 10 Plus model. I ALWAYS clear the cache partition after installing any update.

Android 12 has been running smoothly on all my phones. I would definitely recommend jumping up

my issue since upgrading to Android 12 has been the

- Recent Apps Button issue which though they say they sent a fix, i have the updated version of Samsung Home and my issue still persist.

- Apparently the notifications has changed. i can no longer set individual colours for each app. all notifications come in the colour blue. even if i try to change it, the section for each app isnt there anymore. when i check Whatsapp for example, within Whatsapp it has green as the colour for notifications but it still shows up as Blue (this one has me upset the most as different colours tell me what app so i dont always have to pick up my phone)

so far these have been my bigger issues since i upgraded. now i think flagship phones has more features, eg in Good Lock they have more options for edge lighting that my Midrange (A71) but i do regret doing the upgrade, i have been missing important notifications from some apps. some app notifications dont even show up anymore.

I believe they're talking about wiping the cache partition in the Recovery menu. You enter the Recovery menu by a combination of button presses as you power on the phone.

Clearing the cache can be done at any time.
