After installing Android M on my Nexus 9, why won't my tablet recognize my laptop any longer?

Android M on Nexus 9

Installed Android M on my Nexus 9 tablet and have noticed that my tablet is not being recognized on my laptop. Any ideas how to fix this?

Have you tried turning USB debugging on? Could be that Windows does not have the correct drivers for the tablet now. Try uninstalling the current drivers and then plug back in.

Go into Developer options and you need to change "Select USB Configuration" Change it to MTP.
