After latest update email won't download, what should I do?

After latest update email wont download

After the latest Note 3 system update Jan 2016 ... when I go to check email ... and have to click on the download button to view entire email or to download attachments, it shows something is uploading and downloading but page or attachment never downloads ... ?? Even a small email with a 500k pic attached? Connected to WI fi or 4G..?

Everything worked perfect prior to this latest system update !?
Plus my battery drains like it's powering a home or something !??
Have deleted the system cache. ..with no noticeable change ...
