I recently exchanged my phone with Best Buy and my new model freezes up at least once a day since I recieved it.

The exchange period has expired. Should I contact Best Buy about this issue or Sprint?

Thanks for any help you might provide!

You can see if Best Buy will exchange it.

You're still covered at Sprint Repair Centers for 1 year.

Did you try a hard reset?

Did you try a hard reset?

Yeah, it freezes up to the point that the battery has to be removed. The power button does not respond. It ussually happens when I'm watching a YouTube video or listening to music, but this morning I was late to work because the phone froze up while on the charger and the alarm did not go off.

I would try Best Buy first, see a manager... if not Sprint should exchange it at their repair center since it's still under the year warranty, but they might give you a refurb, that's why i'd try Best Buy first.

i had this issue when i was using setCPU on the stock kernel. It did not play nice.

Try using the "restoring to factory" method in ROM's/Hacks.

After 30 days, and if you did not get best buy's protection plan, it is up to the carrier.

I had this issue with one of my 5 epics ... hard reset didn't remedy it but it can't hurt to try

So I called Sprint. After an hour of back and forth, they are sending me a refurbished model. They did not even want to do that.

I have never had bad customer service with Sprint until today. It was awful.
