Airplane mode disables Bluetooth?

Ok, when I searched I only found answers for other phones and wanted to ask in the 3D's section.

I use Airplane mode a lot; not only on board airplanes but at many other times. I use a Bluetooth headset for music, etc. When I enable Airplane mode, I cannot turn back on Bluetooth; I can turn on WiFi and Hotspot but not Bluetooth.

I looked at the "Network" app by Philipp Mangelow but not sure if that will solve the problem, or if I'm just missing a setting...

Thanks in advance!

Airplane mode disables Bluetooth by default, its not one of the settings you can check back on.

you can however disable you other networks one by one. such as data a WiFi etc. and leave Bluetooth on.

Yeah, bluetooth is another wireless technology that can interfere with an airplanes computer system. You can do what was suggested above, but the best thing to do would be to use a wired set of heaphones while on the plane. You wouldn't want to be the sole cause of your plane crashing, would you? :D

lol... actually, I am a pilot so it'd be my fault anyway. ;) I don't use Bluetooth when I'm actually flying but in the back, probably. There are MANY reports out there that have been commissioned that show results that the signals do / don't interfere. IMO, I think of it like catalytic converters...

In my six years of 121 experience I find that gsm and nextel phones are the ones that create the most audible feedback through the radios.
