Airpod Volume Issues

No issues connecting my airpods and using them when i first got the phone. Playing around i turned on the dual audio and a message popped up and needed to disable "something". Not thinking i clicked ok, dual audio was on, but i lost volume in my airpods. I turned dual audio off, but my max volume is about half in my airpods now. i've played with tons of settings, but cant get the volume back. Anyone had this issue? Ideas?

I would try completely unpairing them and start over.
